Art Lessons

Visual art such as drawing and painting are extremely rewarding, but Creative Kids also helps kids try sculpture, pottery, creative writing, stained glass, fibre art, and printmaking – just about any class offered by an art studio or gallery.

Kids art classes encourage kids try new things, make mistakes, develop patience, expressiveness, and have fun. Summer art camps are gathering places for kids to share their art, learn new drawing and painting styles, and enjoy time with artistic friends. Beginner painters are welcomed and they come home beaming with pride at their new creations.

Creative Kids partners with city-run programs, art galleries, and art instructors and studios who offer a variety of art styles to try.

Families can apply for up to $750 financial assistance per child for art classes or summer art camps.

Note that we work with local instructors and online art class subscriptions are not eligible.
