We would like to congratulate Dr. David Millar, chair, Creative Kids’ Provincial Advisory Committee, on receiving the Award for Distinguished Humanitarian and Community Service from the University of Regina Alumni Association. He accepted his award earlier this month during a ceremony in Regina.
Working with SaskCulture, Millar helped create the Creative Kids program, which since 2010 has helped over 4,500 children participate in creative activities and classes their families could not otherwise afford. For his achievements, he has been inducted into the Saskatchewan Order of Merit and has received the Red Cross Humanitarian Award and the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award. Learn more about David and his accomplishments.
