  • Event Sponsorship: Support a local fundraiser by covering venue, food, or entertainment costs.
  • Donations of Art: Artists can donate pieces for auctions or sales, with tax receipts available for the donated value.

Even small contributions can make a big difference in providing children across Saskatchewan with access to the arts!

Get Involved with Fundraising Efforts

Businesses can boost their impact by organizing or participating in fundraising activities. These efforts not only support grants for kids’ programs, but also raise awareness about arts accessibility for families in need.

Fundraising Ideas for Businesses:

Fundraisers don’t have to be big! Even a $5 monthly donation can help a child join an art or music class.

Partner Through Workplace Giving

Many businesses already offer workplace giving programs, which are simple and hassle-free ways to contribute.

Ways to Support Through Work:

  • Payroll Deductions: Employees can donate through regular payroll contributions.
  • United Way Campaigns: Creative Kids can be designated as the recipient of your workplace’s United Way giving program.
  • Employer Matching: Encourage employees to give by offering to match their donations.

These programs allow employees to support the arts while showing your company’s commitment to community well-being.

Build Awareness and Share the Message

Supporting Creative Kids Saskatchewan is about more than just donations. It’s also about spreading the word and making sure families know about the funding available to help their children join arts programs.

Many families in Saskatchewan don’t realize this support exists, so sharing this information can make a huge difference.

How Your Business Can Raise Awareness:

  • Follow & Share: Promote Creative Kids on social media to expand their reach.
  • Add to Your Newsletter: Share the program with customers and employees.
  • Display Posters or Flyers: Raise awareness in your store, office, or community space.

Why Your Support Matters

For over 15 years, Creative Kids Saskatchewan has provided over $7 million in funding to children across 282 communities and supported 600 local instructors.

By supporting local kids, you’re also helping local artists and instructors continue doing what they love — teaching and sharing their creativity.

This funding gives children access to arts programs, regardless of their family’s financial situation. It also strengthens the entire community by supporting the people and programs that make the arts thrive.
